Our New Adventure and the Princesses New Blog

Awhile ago, I wrote a post about a decision I was trying to make. Well, I made it and our family has taken on a whole new adventure- homeschooling!

Well, technically we are still public school students who happen to school at home. It's a long story. The reasons behind our decision to pull our kids out of regular school and embark on this new adventure are also a part of a long story. And although this was an amazing week, I'm too tired to type out the story right now. So you'll have to be patient for more details. : )

I did want to invite you to jump over to the princesses' new blog and see what adventures we have been up to this week. We rode a train through the mountains today!

For their safety and privacy, I plan to eventually make their blog a private blog that you'll only be able to view by invitation. So if you are interested in following along with this learning adventure of ours, let me know and I'll make sure you get an invitation.

And the name behind the blog? At Maple Tree Academy? They came up with that! They named our school, Maple Tree Academy because of the maple tree in our backyard, and I couldn't miss the spiritual significance of a tree planted in good soil. Enjoy your visit over there!

By the way~ They are just like their momma- COMMENT JUNKIES. Please make their day and leave them a comment

Hey Becky,
I feel like I've been a bit absent lately - life does that at times!! I was just at your school blog! How neat - I'm teaching our oldest, he's in 1st grade and there are no dull moments! What grades are your girls in? I'll be showing him the odd/even poem - we're working on that too. Glad to hear it's going well for you! And even as time goes on, from my experience the good definitely outweighs the bad!! Well back to the adventure here, Jill

I would like to be invited please. I am also considering homeschool, so let me know how it goes! Love ya...ps the fake tree is pretty nice right...no needles and the best part you just put it back in the box when you are done...and it doesn't cost money! I am with KC, so much better! Just spray some pinesol and you can get the aroma too...lol

Be encouraged! After 17 years of homeschooling, I have no regrets. It fits our family and has given us many wonderful experiences together. Praying for your transition.

I would love an invite!
