It is so funny because Sage went for her 9 month check up today and she weighs 14 pounds...a whole 2 pounds more than Jamin (not sure if that nickname is going to stick with me or not yet.) She grew from 23 inches to 27 inches in one month and she is now finally on a percentile chart...woohoo! I breastfed Sage for the first 3 months but totally unconventional way. Because she was so small, I would pump and then feed it to her in a bottle, but because of all of the medicine that I am on for my heart and diabeties, we switched to formula, and my dad insisted she get the liquid form that is like $6 for 32 ounces...expensive...I finally have her on powder. Are you using the nursing covers that you made? Did you ever decide on a name?
Becky he is so cute! Both of our kids have the prettiest tan complexion...what color are his eyes? Sage has my dark complexion but blue/hazel eyes that her Dr said would stick...lucky thing...her daddy is already so nervous for how beautiful she is getting. She has SO much hair now, she actually has side burns, I am not sure what I am going to do with it...She definitely looks like her Daddy. I also totally know what you mean about the whole my life is over thing...I think the biggest adjustment for me was realizing that I was a mom 24/7 that I couldn't call in sick, because the first time I got the flu all I wanted to do was lay around but you can't do it because you are still a mom...toughest job on earth but it sounds like you are doing a great job! Can't wait to meet him soon and see the girls, I can't believe how big they are...theh last time I saw you guys Amy was just a couple of months old. Love you guys, and thanks for all the info!!!The Jernigan Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14886019330520856817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3681835026114823283.post-57271071064409328192008-10-02T13:13:00.000-07:002008-10-02T13:13:00.000-07:00Wow, 12 lbs? My kiddos don't know how to leave their baby sister alone either...and there are times when she's sleeping and I don't want her bothered!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15700075162888413264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3681835026114823283.post-12221370117316456752008-10-01T10:23:00.000-07:002008-10-01T10:23:00.000-07:00I know exactly what you mean when you wrote, "When...I know exactly what you mean when you wrote, "When you have your first baby you think, "My life is over." This time I remember that at about the three month mark life will feel normal again, so I just do my best and hang on until we get to normal again." I found for all three that around 4-5 mths even though they were sleeping ok, I hit this point where I still felt like I was getting anything done and juggling act was falling a part (the newness emotions had worn off and the sleeping all the time phase newborn phase ended) but it was so helpful to recognize, this was just a stage and it will pass quicker than you want. I was at the library today for a baby story time and there were all these babies there (go figure) and I looked at my 14 mth and realized sadly, she is not a baby anymore. She's walking, talking...it goes so quickly!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3681835026114823283.post-2544597702998159832008-09-30T21:43:00.000-07:002008-09-30T21:43:00.000-07:00Becky,It's been a while since I've said hello, but...Becky,
It's been a while since I've said hello, but I have been keeping updated with you... just haven't had time to tell you so!

CONGRATULATIONS!
